Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking an ER RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Rockford, Illinois. The role involves delivering rapid-response, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting. You will assess patient conditions, implement urgent care plans, administer treatments, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival, prioritizing care based on severity
• Explain emergency procedures and treatments to patients and families
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments following established emergency nursing protocols
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during emergency treatments and examinations
• Monitor patient comfort and safety throughout the ED
• Document patient conditions, interventions, and outcomes in the EMR
• Initiate patient education plans according to acute-care needs
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, paramedics, social workers, and other staff to ensure comprehensive care
• Adhere to hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice

Required Qualifications

• One year of recent ER RN experience
• Valid RN license in the applicable state
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC Certification

Preferred Qualifications

• TNCC, NIHSS, CPI, NRP, and SANE certifications
• Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position
