Job Details

• Assignment Type: Travel ICU Registered Nurse
• Location: Tucson, AZ 85741 (Arizona healthcare jobs)
• Facility Setting: Med Surg/Neuro Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Start Date: August 25, 2025
• End Date: November 24, 2025
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), 3 shifts/week
• Total Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekend Requirement: 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• Floating: Willingness to float to nearby healthcare facilities within a 25-mile radius (advance notice provided)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1860 - $2210

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience (Med Surg/Neuro ICU preferred)
• Proficient with Cerner electronic medical records (EMR)
• Ability to adapt and float to different hospital units as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatments
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Administer medications, manage IVs, and operate advanced critical care equipment
• Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and recovery expectations
• Float to other hospital units or nearby healthcare facilities as required
