Requirements

• CDL-A license and 1+ years of driving experience
• Candidates must be 21 years of age with a clean driver’s abstract
• No moving violations in the last 3 years
• No reckless driving or drug or alcohol convictions in the last 7 years

Note: Driver employment at Wegmans is contingent upon completion and our evaluation of a drug test, a DOT drug test, a DOT physical exam, a criminal background check, employment verification, the driver\'s abstract (PSP review) and a driving skills evaluation

Work Environment

Work includes prolonged sitting and driving, walking, climbing, and repetitive hand and arm movements in varying driving situations. May include loading and unloading trailers, hooking and breaking up trailers, and dropping/switching trailers at stores, warehouses, vendor facilities, backhaul locations, or expressway interchanges. May involve layovers to some long-haul destinations. The typical item weight lifted ranges from 5-10 pounds, with occasional lifts up to 50 pounds. The work environment includes seasonal outdoor temperatures and weather. Other requirements: at least 21 years of age and valid CDL-A; must have a clean driver\'s abstract, no moving violations in the last 3 years, and no reckless driving or drug/alcohol convictions in the last 7 years.
