This position requires an active DoD Clearance (Secret, Top Secret, Top Secret/SCI) or the ability to be obtain an (Interim Secret, Interim Top Secret)**** ***Because an active or interim DoD clearance is required, U.9 Duration Unit Contract to Hire PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Conduct network and telecommunications system incident investigation. • Identify and document network errors and solutions. • Analyze network and telecommunications alarms and identify potential issues. • Configure, test, install, troubleshoot, and maintain network devices such as firewalls, cryptographic devices, and routers to optimize performance and ensure the desired security posture is attained and maintained. • Configure, test, install, troubleshoot, and maintain network devices, phone systems, including phone units, voicemail, switches, infrastructure, call manager systems, Video Teleconference (VTC) systems video recording/viewing/distribution systems, and related telecommunications trunk circuits. • Configure, test, install, troubleshoot, and maintain network devices including MSPP, Promina, ATM, and Optical. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: • High School Diploma and 3+ yrs of relevant technical discipline; Hold DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security+ CE or equivalent) prior to start date. • Able to work in a shift work environment as we are a 24/7 operation. • Experience with one or more of the following: alarm surveillance, fault management, LAN maintenance, performance management • Expertise in one or more of the following: routers, switches, crypto devices, routing, DSN/DRSN, GVS, Promina, CISCO, MSPP, Optical Switching. • General understanding of network topologies, both transport and IP. • Currently possess an active Secret security clearance. NOC, router, switches, VOIP, Unified communications, Cisco, Nortel, PBX, Avaya, #FEDTPP Job Title Network Administrator (IP) Top Skills Details We need candidates that have a Secret or Top Secret clearance that have worked in a NOC type environment before (ideally in a military setting) There are several teams, some specialize in Router/Switch, some in UC/VOIP, LAN/WAN,Cisco and Juniper Routers and Switches, Satellite communications etc. Systems Admin or Network Admin experience. Secret or Top Secret clearance. There will be shifts that people need to fit into. We don\'t know what shift they will go on after training but the first month will be on day shift and then they will move to swings or nights for on the job training. On-site Experience Level Intermediate Level External Communities Job Description We need candidates that have a Secret or Top Secret clearance that have worked in a NOC type environment before (ideally in a military setting) There are several teams, some specialize in Router/Switch, some in SatCom, LAN/WAN, etc. This person will be working on base with other civilian contractors on an active Air Force base. These candidates need to have a high level of professionalism as they will be working on an Active Air Force Base.
