Cooks/Servers for Summer Food Services

The North Andover Public Schools' Department of Nutrition is looking for employees needed for meal prep and meal distribution for our Summer Food Service Program, Summer Eats. Employees must be able to cook, prep, serve and clean.
Interested candidates must be available to work full weeks Monday through Friday from June 23, 2025 through July 31, 2025, no exceptions. Hours: 9:00am to 1:00pm or 9:00am to 2:00pm depending on site assignment. Hourly rate is $25.00.
Employees report to NAHS at 9:00am for meal prep. At 11:00am or 12:00pm employees travel to our approved sites to distribute meals.
ALL
employees will be expected to assist with food deliveries, food prep, use ovens and other kitchen equipment, cook food, serve food and clean up all food service at commissary and summer food service site. Job responsibilities will be assigned equally. Employees currently working for our food service program will be considered first for employment over the summer. Should additional help be needed, then outside interested applicants will be interviewed. Employees must attend mandated training sessions assigned by DESE. These trainings will be either onsite at NAHS or virtual.
Qualifications:
ServSafe Certification
Allergen Awareness Certified
Working knowledge of food and nutrition as it relates to the Summer Food Service Program
Experience cooking meals of mass production
Knowledge of time & temperature practices as related to food production
Transportation to and from sites
