Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements and specifications. - Conduct manual and automated testing across various software applications and platforms. - Identify, document, and track defects and issues using issue-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla). - Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure alignment on testing objectives. - Perform regression testing to verify that new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionality. - Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or similar frameworks. - Analyze test results, provide feedback, and suggest improvements for software quality and performance. - Participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall improvement of the software development process. - Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in testing tools and methodologies. Qualifications: - 3-6 years of experience in software testing with a strong focus on both manual and automated testing. - Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber) is a plus. - Solid understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall). - Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN) and CI/CD pipelines. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment. - Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter) is a plus.
