Job Summary

We are seeking an accomplished

Data Architect / Data Engineering Lead

with 15+ years of experience in designing and implementing robust, scalable, and secure data architectures. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in

Azure Synapse ,

Python ,

PySpark ,

ADF , and

MSBI toolsets (SSIS, SSRS, SQL Server) . This role requires both

hands-on technical leadership

and

strategic data architecture

capabilities to align enterprise data solutions with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Architect and design

scalable, secure, and efficient

data solutions

aligned with organizational strategy. Lead and mentor teams in the

design, build, and deployment

of

data pipelines ,

SSIS packages , and

data models . Utilize

Azure Synapse, ADF, Python, and PySpark

to build and optimize data integration and processing solutions. Oversee and fine-tune

MSBI components

-

SQL Server ,

SSIS , and

SSRS

- ensuring high availability and performance. Write and review

complex SQL queries ,

stored procedures , and

functions , adhering to performance and best-practice standards. Troubleshoot and resolve issues across

ADF/Synapse Pipelines ,

SQL Agent Jobs ,

SSIS packages , and

T-SQL queries . Collaborate with

senior management

and

business stakeholders

to align data architecture with business objectives. Apply hands-on experience with

Azure DevOps (ADO)

for code versioning, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment management. Utilize version control concepts such as

cherry-picking ,

branching , and

merging

for efficient team collaboration. Generate

weekly and monthly reports

to track project progress and ensure alignment with timelines and KPIs. Provide

technical leadership , mentoring, and guidance to junior engineers and analysts. Develop and maintain

comprehensive documentation

for data architecture, design decisions, and implementation processes. Propose and implement

innovative data solutions

for complex business use cases using

industry best practices . Required Skills & Qualifications

15+ years

of experience in

data architecture ,

data engineering , or

business intelligence

roles. Expertise in

Azure Synapse ,

Azure Data Factory (ADF) ,

Python , and

PySpark . Strong proficiency in

SQL Server ,

SSIS , and

SSRS

with hands-on performance tuning experience. Solid understanding of

data warehousing ,

ETL frameworks , and

data pipeline orchestration . Experience with

Azure DevOps (ADO) ,

Git , and

version control workflows . Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills. Proven

leadership and mentoring

capabilities in technical teams. Strong communication skills and ability to engage effectively with senior management and business stakeholders. Experience documenting and maintaining

data architecture artifacts

and

data governance standards . Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of

Power BI

or other reporting/visualization tools. Experience with

data lakehouse architectures

and

cloud data modernization

initiatives. Certification in

Microsoft Azure Data Engineer

or

Data Architect Expert . Exposure to

Agile/Scrum

methodologies and enterprise project delivery.
