Job Description

The Fire Sprinkler Designer is responsible for assisting in the administration of fire protection programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES Design fire suppression systems Prepare 2 and 3 dimensional construction documents using HydraCAD Coordinate design efforts with customers, contractors and architects Evaluate contractor's performance Interpret existing standards and develop new ones Review design documentation and advise agency and contractor management regarding fire safety Provide technical advice to contractors, architects, and engineers while reviewing system plans Monitor code information and conduct site inspections for new construction projects Supervise professional - level staff engaged in fire prevention duties Demonstrate continuos effort to improve operations and steamline work provesses QUALIFICATIONS

Technical:

Familiarity with construction estimating 5 years experience as fire sprinkler designer NICET II water based

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver license with a safe driving record required

Communication Skills:

Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced professionals. Experience with sales support.
