Job Title: Procedural Radiologic Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 07:00 - 17:30 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience License: ARRT Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ODH Ohio Radiologic License Certifications: BLS & ACLS Certification Must-Have: Competence in Cath Lab and Vascular Interventional procedures Description: Traveler's permanent residence must be greater than 100 miles from the central facility to be eligible to apply. The Procedural Radiologic Technologist will assist in diagnostic and interventional procedures. Roles will include scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating. Knowledge of X-ray equipment in use is essential. Candidate must understand hemodynamic monitoring and coronary and peripheral anatomy. Experience in sterile technique is required. The technologist should be familiar with imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy, computed tomography (CT), and ultrasound. Competence in assisting with minimally invasive, image-guided vascular procedures is preferred. Knowledge of cardiac structures and anatomy of the heart chambers is needed. Technologist must be able to perform duties as an assistant to the Electrophysiologist for both non-invasive and invasive procedures. An understanding of arrhythmia monitoring is crucial. The role may also require assisting with neuro interventional procedures. Knowledge of cerebral angiogram coiling and stroke interventions is advantageous. This position contributes to supporting the health and wellness of patients.
