Receptionist - Lindbergh High School
Full-time position, 40 hours/week Schedule: 12 months, Monday-Friday LAOP Level C - Beginning hourly rate: $18.28 subject to experience Full Benefits included Non-exempt Summary:
Contributes to effective school/public relations by prompt and courteous handling of all inquiries and visitors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned.
Operate switchboard at High School, answering phone calls, greeting visitors, printing visitor badges, operates door alarm system for various entrances Assists in receiving and shipping of packages for the high school Distribution of sending out mail to high school staff Updates and maintains staff mail boxes and staff phone extension list Process printing and reviews copy center orders for High School faculty Processes, records, and collects all parking ticket fines issued by security officer Distribute High School mail to appropriate grades and departments. Process all mail leaving the High School Assist principal's secretary with regular office routines Assists in supporting projects as assigned by principals Functions as a team member carrying out shared responsibilities of the office Assists administrators, teachers, staff, students, families, and community as needed Provides professional and courteous customer service to all parents, staff, and visitors Attends staff meetings and professional learning as directed Performs all work in accordance with governmental laws, state mandates, and Lindbergh policies Assists and process attendance for students including activities such as; checking them in out for day, taking absentee phone calls from parents and recording all-day student absences, processing Dr Notes for student records Processes workers permits for 14-15 year old students Collects items from parents for students to pick-up throughout the day. Responsible for sending E-Hall Pass to student's classroom for pick-up after parent drop-off.
