As the Service Ambassador Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maintaining high service standards. It will be your responsibility to oversee and lead a team of cast members providing an immediate, courteous and friendly interaction(s) to every guest entering the outlet(s), using the SPOTLIGHT model as a foundation as part of our Excellence in Service philosophy. Position Requirements
Essential Primary Functions: Greets and welcomes guest(s) within company standards Ensures a quality guest experience according to Springs Foods Services Service Excellence and SPOTLIGHT standards Controls the flow of the dining room by continuously monitoring guest transactions and seating availability to produce the highest possible product and service to the guest(s). Mentors and leads a group of cast members to ensure the highest level of dining room cleanliness, product integrity, and guest engagement Supervises and directs reporting cast members according to current checklists protocol and management directions Foster open communication channels between service staff, management, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and address any issues promptly Knowledgeable of Company policy regarding alcohol service Knowledgeable of events and happenings that are occurring within and outside of the hotel. Act as an ambassador aiding guests in locating other areas of the hotel or property (walk them to destination if possible) Attend all designated staff meetings and training sessions Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure clean uniform and professional personal appearance; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions; complete safety training and certifications Performs all side work duties, before, during and after shift Training and Development: Train new cast members on company policies, procedures, and service standards Complete all other duties assigned by leadership EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of two (2) year's previous food and beverage experience required, preferably in a similar environment Minimum of two (2) years in a supervisory level in a restaurant or food service with high volume preferred. Ability to multitask and work in a very fast paced environment in a professional demeanor Excellent Hospitality Skills Self-directed (can complete tasks with minimal supervision) Willing to follow instructions and take direction Must be Flexible/adaptable to different work demands Must be able to complete and pass the Company's Food Handler's and Responsible Vendors certifications Must have strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills, including the ability to speak in front of large groups Must have the ability to read, write, speak and understand English well Must be able to consistently lift and carry up to Fifty (50) pounds Must maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Must effectively deal with guests, management, employees, and members of the business community in all situations. Must be customer service orientated with the ability to adapt to special requests and constantly changing circumstances, often under pressure. Must possess excellent telephone etiquette Must adhere to all Palmas Restaurant Group and Disney Policies and Service standards as a minimum
