Responsibilities
- Provide psychopharmacological assessments and reviews as required.
- Complete all required documentation.
- Communicate effectively with other team members and with parents about medication recommendations.
- Participate in clinical rounds and other clinical meetings.
- Provide psychiatric evaluations for new patients.
- Fulfill on-call responsibilities when applicable, including issuing necessary orders, conducting physical assessments of youth when needed, and providing consultation to nurses and program staff.
- Maintain compliance with all required trainings, re-certifications, or licensing requirements/renewals.
- Frequent visits to the campus in Douglasville, GA as required.
Requirements
- Licensed physician
- Completion of a board-approved child/adolescent psychiatric residency
