Part-Time Psychiatrist role at Youth Villages.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychopharmacological assessments and reviews as required.
• Complete all required documentation.
• Communicate effectively with other team members and with parents about medication recommendations.
• Participate in clinical rounds and other clinical meetings.
• Provide psychiatric evaluations for new patients.
• Fulfill on-call responsibilities when applicable, including issuing necessary orders, conducting physical assessments of youth when needed, and providing consultation to nurses and program staff.
• Maintain compliance with all required trainings, re-certifications, or licensing requirements/renewals.
• Frequent visits to the campus in Douglasville, GA as required.

Requirements

• Licensed physician
• Completion of a board-approved child/adolescent psychiatric residency
