Litigation Paralegal A leading and established regional litigation firm is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join its thriving Personal Injury practice group. This role is integral to managing complex cases from inception through resolution, focusing primarily on high-stakes litigation, medical record analysis, and detailed discovery coordination. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and is passionate about ensuring case compliance and providing superior support to the legal team. Key Responsibilities The Litigation Paralegal will manage critical aspects of the litigation lifecycle, including: Case Management & Discovery:

Discovery Drafting:

Prepare, draft, and finalize complex discovery requests and responses (Interrogatories, Requests for Production, Requests for Admission) tailored to individual cases. Pleadings & Motions:

Draft and manage legal documents, including petitions, notices, stipulations, and standard motions, ensuring meticulous accuracy for filing. File Management:

Maintain comprehensive and organized physical and electronic case files, ensuring documents are indexed, Bates-stamped, and easily accessible. Court Compliance:

Diligently track and manage litigation deadlines, calendar hearings, and ensure timely filing and e-filing of all documents with state and federal courts. Evidence & Research:

Medical Record Review:

Conduct extensive review and summarization of complex medical records, billing statements, deposition transcripts, and expert reports to identify critical evidence, causation, and damages. Liaison:

Serve as a primary point of contact and communication link between attorneys, clients, opposing counsel, expert witnesses, and court personnel. Fact Investigation:

Assist attorneys with factual investigation, document collection, and the preparation of comprehensive case summaries and chronologies. Qualifications Experience:

Minimum 5 years of dedicated paralegal experience, with significant focus on the personal injury, medical malpractice, or general civil litigation space. Education:

Bachelor's Degree is required and Paralegal Certificate is preferred. Technical Proficiency: Expert proficiency in legal research tools (e.g., LexisNexis, Westlaw). Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat. Experience utilizing legal practice management/RMIS software (e.g., Clio, MyCase, or similar). Proficiency with electronic filing (e-filing) systems. Skills:

Exceptional organizational, communication (written and verbal), and analytical skills. Proven ability to handle multiple priorities and strict deadlines independently. Compensation and Benefits $50,000 - $65,000

annual salary
