Summary of Position The Systems Administrator assists the Network Administrator with the core IT Operations at Kintegra Health.
The Systems Administrator Provides: Servers
Maintain Server infrastructure and backups Perform or oversee vendor
installation/maintenance
of Windows-based applications on servers Replace/upgrade existing server infrastructure at EoL Manage remote server access/ application deployment (RDP, Parallels) Maintain and troubleshoot Hybrid AD environment Assist DevOps group with Linux servers
Networking
Monitor network infrastructure and manage trouble tickets with vendors as needed Manage and troubleshoot wireless networks and assist in wireless network consolidation. Assist Network Administrator with improving documentation of networks and planning for future sites
Cloud/Applications
Assist with managing Office365 and Azure Environments Assist with managing cloud security products Manage instance of JIRA Coordinate with Information Security and DevOps departments on projects involving cloud infrastructure (SSO, MFA)
Support for Service Desk Operations
Assist with building and testing computer deployments in InTune Provide high-level support for escalated issues regarding
server/network/cloud
infrastructure Provide knowledge transfer to support staff when implementing new system
Performance Requirements Must be able to sit, stand and walk for long periods of time Ability to pick up and move equipment weighing no more than 50 lbs. without assistance Manual and physical dexterity Ability to read and understand the English language Ability to effectively maintain confidentiality of records and communicate with all levels of personnel Valid NC driver’s license. Three to Five years of systems administration, enterprise-level IT support experience or an equivalent Combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job as listed Experience with Windows desktop and Server OS and MS Office. Experience with managing VMWare, VEEAM, and other associated system administration tools. Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, AD administration, user account creation and Internet email. Excellent communication, time management and problem-solving skills
Education :
Associates degree in Information Technology or IT certifications
Experience Required : 4+ years’ work experience preferred
Other knowledge, skills:
Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Server Administration, Microsoft Office 365 Administration, VMWare, Veeam, desktop hardware and printers, good communication skills, ability to prioritize multiple tasks, strong sense of urgency, project management Certification(s) :
Comp TIA A+, Network + or Microsoft MCP certifications preferred
