Job Summary The Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) plays a critical role in providing direct and indirect patient care and assisting healthcare professionals in maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for patients. LNAs work under the supervision of registered nurses (RNs) or licensed practical nurses (LPNs) to ensure the physical and emotional well-being of patients. They provide assistance with activities of daily living, vital signs monitoring, patient mobility, and maintaining patient hygiene. To learn more about Helen Porter Nursing & Rehabilitation, please click here: Helen Porter Rehabilitation & Nursing, UVM Health - Porter Medical Center University of Vermont Health Memory Care Unit The Memory Care Unit is designed to meet the changing needs of individuals as they experience the progression of symptoms and increases in cognitive loss associated with a diagnosis of dementia. Our early-stage program offers activity-based care in a warm, supportive and safe environment with a primary goal of helping individuals maintain dignity, purpose and functional ability. This highly specialized unit is staffed with very dedicated advocates and team members. Residents in this unit are the most vulnerable, usually unable to advocate for themselves. We offer the following differentials in addition to the hourly rate of pay: Per Diem $2.00 per hour

Evening $3.00 per hour

Night $5.00 per hour

Weekend $2.00 per hour (in addition to applicable shift differentials)

For full and part time LNA positions, we are offering a sign on bonus, up to $7,500, pro-rated for part time and years of experience.

Requirements LNA, licensed in Vermont.
