Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced
Data Modeler
to design and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient data models that enable seamless data flow across transactional, analytical, and lake house systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in
SQL ,
data modeling tools (Erwin/ER Studio) , and experience with
cloud data platforms
and
Master Data Management (MDM)
solutions.
Core Responsibilities
Design and maintain
conceptual ,
logical , and
physical
data models aligned with business and technical requirements. Collaborate with
business stakeholders ,
data architects , and
engineering teams
to refine data requirements. Ensure
data integrity ,
normalization , and
performance optimization
across data systems. Document
metadata ,
data lineage , and maintain comprehensive model documentation. Model data for
transactional systems
and
lake house architectures , bridging operational and analytical data layers. Fine-tune
entity models
based on access patterns (e.g.,
Star Schema ,
Graph ,
Document ,
Relational ). Define
domain relationships
and develop
connected entity models
supporting enterprise integration. Key Skills & Qualifications
Proficiency in
SQL
and
data modeling tools
such as
Erwin ,
ER/Studio , or similar. Strong understanding of
normalization ,
dimensional modeling , and
data warehousing concepts . Experience with
relational
and
cloud databases
(e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift). Familiarity with
cloud platforms and services
-
AWS ,
Azure , or
GCP . Hands-on experience with
Master Data Management (MDM)
solutions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to
data lakehouse architectures
(e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery). Knowledge of
data governance
and
metadata management
frameworks. Experience with
NoSQL databases
(MongoDB, Neo4j, Cassandra). Understanding of
data security
and
compliance
best practices.
