Chicago, IL, in the West Loop neighborhood , where you will join a thriving team. As a member of our Inventory Team, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining our culture of providing ridiculously good customer service. Our
Inventory Control Associate
is required to have experience with inventory management systems, cycle counting, and general warehouse operations.

What We're Looking For: Proficiency with Microsoft Office and inventory management systems Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work both independently and collaboratively Basic mathematical aptitude and experience in a warehouse setting Ability to prioritize responsibilities and manage time efficiently Clear communication in English, both verbal and written What You'll Do:
Conduct daily cycle counts and reconcile inventory variances Audit and report discrepancies in physical inventory Communicate order issues to the sales team via email Create, label, and organize inventory storage locations using 5S methodology Report damage, shortages, and adjustments to supervisors Analyze and report on inventory trends and safeguarding practices Support inventory counts at other locations and assist with returns as needed Maintain documentation and follow safety procedures Why Join Porter Pipe?

High school diploma or GED At least 2 years of warehouse experience with Warehouse Management Systems Experience using RF handheld devices Prior forklift experience preferred but not required Physical Demands:
Ability to lift, carry, push and/or pull up to 50 lbs Visual, hearing, and speech acuity required Comfortable working in environments with extreme temperatures, noise, and fumes
