JD: The Solution Architect will design and implement automated and observability solutions that ensure the health, performance, and reliability of our IT systems. This senior-level role bridges business strategy and technical execution, providing technical leadership to engineering teams and stakeholders. As a hands-on Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions that drive business value.
Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain the overall strategy, technical roadmap, and architectural standards for automation and observability. • Design and implement end-to-end automation solutions using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and scripting languages like Python and Bash. • Develop and maintain automation scripts, workflows, and pipelines to streamline processes and reduce manual effort. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation and design solutions that meet business needs. • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior architects and engineering teams on automation best practices. • Utilize observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog to monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement. • Create and maintain technical documentation, dashboards, and reports to provide insights into system performance and automation effectiveness. • Explore opportunities to leverage AI/ML technologies to enhance automation and observability solutions.
Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • 10+ years of experience in software architecture, solution design, or technical leadership, with demonstrated experience in automation and observability solutions. • Hands-on experience with automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, and scripting languages like Python and Bash. • Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS), observability tools (preferably Dynatrace, Splunk, etc.), and automation technologies. • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex technical issues. • Familiarity with Harness for continuous delivery and deployment. • Experience with AI/ML frameworks and tools and understanding of when to use AI tools • Hands-on Python experience • Knowledge of machine learning algorithms, prompt engineering, natural language processing, and predictive analytics • Familiarity with distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud-native technologies. • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills. • Ability to influence and guide cross-functional teams. • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation testing frameworks. • Understanding of "Shift-left " and "shift-right " security approaches, including practices such as SAST, SCA, secrets detection, RASP, and chaos engineering for enhanced security and resilience.
