Insight Global is hiring: Automated Tester in Richmond

Insight Global is seeking an Automated Tester with hands on experience in Playwright to join a local state agency. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of web applications across multiple brow and platforms. The pay rate for this role varies from 40-45 dollars an hour based on a candidates years of experience.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA analysts to understand requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
• Execute automated test suites and analyze results to identify defects and performance issues.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Maintain test environments and ensure test data integrity.
• Document test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
• Continuously improve test coverage and automation frameworks.

Required Skills & Experience
• 3+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 1 year using Playwright.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript or Python.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, REST APIs).
