Weekly Gross Pay: $2000/ Week
Schedule: Three 12-hour Day shifts per week

Job Description

We are currently seeking experienced and motivated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for immediate openings at a dynamic and fast-paced adult surgical unit in a renowned hospital setting in New Hampshire. This role offers an excellent opportunity for LPNs who thrive in high-acuity environments and are passionate about post-surgical and trauma care. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, IV certification, and recent hospital experience. This position operates under a team nursing model, working alongside RNs and LNAs to provide outstanding patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of an RN, focusing on orthopedic, trauma, and post-surgical patients.
• Administer medications, including IV antibiotics (IV certification required).
• Perform focused assessments, admissions, discharges, and patient education under RN guidance.
• Support RN and LNA staff within the team nursing model (2 RNs, 1 LPN, 1 LNA).
• Monitor and report patient condition changes.
• Deliver care in accordance with hospital protocols, safety standards, and infection control guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with the care team to promote quality outcomes.
• Adapt to patient populations ranging from orthopedic surgeries (hips, knees, laminectomies) to complex trauma and cystic fibrosis overflow cases.
• Work in specialized environments including negative pressure rooms and COVID surgical units.

Qualifications

• Active New Hampshire LPN license or Compact License.
• IV Certification from a New Hampshire state-approved course.
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum 1.5 years clinical experience
• At least 1 year of hospital experience within the last 3-5 years
• Ortho/trauma experience required
• Experience in a Level I Trauma Center preferred, Level II acceptable
