Overview We are seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to support our Washington, DC office. Candidate will coordinate Information Assurance Accreditation for unmanned surface and undersea vehicles (UxVs), working with shipbuilders, PARMs, NAVSEA CIO, and other stakeholders. Responsibilities include maintaining network accreditation across the PMS 406 UxV portfolio in accordance with DoD/DoN cybersecurity policies. Candidate will coordinate Information Assurance Accreditation for unmanned surface and undersea vehicles (UxVs), working with shipbuilders, PARMs, NAVSEA CIO, and other stakeholders. Responsibilities include maintaining network accreditation across the PMS 406 UxV portfolio in accordance with DoD/DoN cybersecurity policies. What will you do? Organize and coordinate unmanned surface and undersea vehicles (UxVs) Information Assurance Accreditation. This includes coordinating with Shipbuilders, PARMs, NAVSEA CIO and other stakeholders to accredit and maintain the accreditation of the networks for UxVs within PMS 406 portfolio. Do you have what it takes? Required Skills Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity or equivalent (Computer Science and Engineering would be considered an equivalent degree) 10 years - 15 years of relevant experience Must have active DoD Secret Clearance and ability to sustain one Preferred Skills Master's degree in Information Technology,, Cybersecurity or equivalent (Computer Science and Engineering would be considered an equivalent degree) CISM CISSP 15 or more years relevant experience in information assurance/cybersecurity accreditation DoD/DoN procedures and Policies for Information Assurance Accreditation, electronics, robotics, computer programming/software engineer Pay Range: VTG’s estimated starting pay range is $85,000-$150,000 annually, which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.
