Overview Join to apply for the manager, cybersecurity CSOC role at Starbucks . This job contributes to Starbucks success by managing the planning, coordination, and continual improvement of enterprise wide cybersecurity detect and response controls. A successful manager of our CSOC (Cybersecurity Operations Center) at Starbucks is a self-starter, a natural problem solver, collaborative, and able to work well with adversity and ambiguity. You should have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, a deep technical understanding of modern cybersecurity threats, and a validated track record in hands-on approach to maturing defense capabilities in highly targeted environments at scale. The goal is to deliver a world class threat defense program that addresses, contains, and drives successful resolution to cybersecurity situations. Models and acts in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles. Responsibilities Leadership – Setting goals for the team, developing organizational capability, and modeling how we work together. Introduce technical topics, sponsor opportunities for innovation, and recognize technical excellence. Model leadership behaviors grounded in Starbucks Mission and Values. Drive the engagement, development and performance of all team members. Planning and Execution – Developing strategic and tactical plans for the team, managing execution, and measuring results. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects and enhancements. Plan and manage processes and practices to ensure delivery of a world class threat defense program. Technical Design and Implementation – Providing technical expertise and executing technical responsibilities. Communicate the current threat and vulnerability landscape clearly. Partner with other teams to continuously improve and advance the organization’s operational security capabilities. Partner Development and Team Building – Coaching, feedback, and building an effective team. Build and lead a team that supports each other, makes others feel welcome, and succeeds together. Inspire the team to achieve world class results and support career growth. Ownership – Taking accountability for the quality and success of the team’s outcomes. Define and maintain processes, procedures, and expectations for the team’s support responsibilities. Ensure appropriate support documentation exists. Lead the team through high severity operational incidents. Basic Qualifications 7+ years of experience in information technology 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity 5+ years of experience leading and developing high-performing teams Deep understanding of cybersecurity attacks and defense techniques Experience integrating threat hunting and cyber threat intelligence into incident response Excellent problem-solving abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Integrity and dependability; ability to thrive in ambiguity Must be able to work PT hours to accommodate global business groups Preferred Qualifications Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CIPM, or others in cybersecurity, data privacy, or information risk management Compensation Base pay range: $150,600.00/yr - $251,000.00/yr Benefits and Additional Information As a Starbucks partner, you and your family will have access to medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, parental leave, vacation, holidays, and other benefits.
