Overview Indiana University Health and IU School of Medicine are seeking a patient-focused Endourologist to join our academic division in Indianapolis, Indiana .
Position Details Full time
80% clinical and 20% academic
Monday - Friday
8am - 5pm
5-6 weeks per year of call
General urology patients with a focus on BPH and stone patients
Practice locations include Methodist Hospital, North Hospital, and Eskenazi Hospital
Inpatient 2-3 days/week and outpatient 1-2 days/week
Team includes 5 physicians and 3 APPs
Key Responsibilities Clinical management of patients with BPH and urolithiasis as well as other general urologic issues
Procedures include HoLEP, URS, and Perc nephrolithotomy
Teaching medical students and residents
Research opportunities
Minimum Job Requirements (qualifications) Endourology fellowship required
Board Eligible or Board Certified
Physician MD/DO licensed in Indiana or eligible for medical licensure in Indiana

Healthcare System/Hospital Description IU Health Methodist Hospital is a large tertiary referral center with over 130 ICU beds and 1,000 beds. It serves as the largest trauma center in Indianapolis, as well as a highly subspecialized center for cardiovascular surgery, thoracic surgery, neurosurgery, lung transplantation, and neurocritical care. IU Health is building a new downtown hospital and campus, which will consolidate operations of the adjacent IU Health Methodist and University Hospitals. Construction for the new hospital is well underway and set to open in late 2027. It will feature three 16-story towers with 864 beds. IU School of Medicine is also constructing a medical education and research building directly east of the new hospital.
