About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Commercial Sales for the Retail and CPG sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the enterprise sales strategy, with a focus on high-impact, transformative deals across top-tier organizations. This role involves engaging and influencing C-level executives, leading a team of experienced sellers, and building strategic relationships to accelerate the company's growth in the retail technology space. The VP will also be tasked with promoting and selling the company's offerings, ensuring optimal solution fit, and strengthening the brand through lasting partnerships in the retail and CPG ecosystems. Applicants must have a demonstrated history of success in closing large-scale enterprise SaaS deals, preferably within the retail and CPG sectors, and a minimum of 12 years' of experience in enterprise sales, with at least 5 years' in a leadership role. A Bachelor's degree is required, with an MBA or advanced degree preferred. The ideal candidate will have a strong network and established relationships in the industry, commercial acumen, and exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Deep domain knowledge of the retail and consumer packaged goods industries, as well as expertise in solution selling methodologies and enterprise sales cycle management, are essential. The role also requires a willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and collaborate with teams.
