Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery - Travel - (LD RN)

StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 12 N Weekend Rotation Holiday Requirements Travelers will work 75% of holidays Region 1 - Cabarrus, University City, Stanly, Lake Norman, Central Division (CMC Main + Mercy + LCH (peds only) -- could float to any of the facilities within region if the need arises RN - Labor & Delivery/Postpartum About Facility: Cornelius - 1130 Tree of Life Lane, Cornelius, NC 28031 Not a Teaching Hospital Traveler’s permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit Unit Information: 9 Mother Baby; GYN surgical RN: AWHONN Guidelines RN: BLS, ACLS, EFM, NRP – Resource Team requirement RN: Experience with all aspects of LDRP patient care, circulating c-sections, experience with newborn care to include heel sticks, 24 hr. testing, NAS scoring, lactation support; postpartum care, Newborn resuscitation (NRP) OB Surg Tech – 1 per shift Receptionist/HUC – patient registration, visitor mgmt. and unit secretary duties Charge nurse Hospitalist or OB Physician, 24/7 Pediatrician Lactation Consultants – Not hired yet as this is a brand new facility Nurses Station and bedside fetal monitoring Technology/Equipment: EMR: EPIC Panda Warmer, GE monitors/OBIX central monitoring Region 1 - Cabarrus, University City, Stanly, Lake Norman, Central Division (CMC Main + Mercy + LCH (peds only) -- could float to any of the facilities within region if the need arises If floating mid-shift, Traveler will be paid for the time traveling between facilities (will remain on the clock) Will be required to float per region needs – will require floating to all facilities listed below, as needed, within scope of practice – DECLINE if not agreeable Orientation (facility and unit): Weekend rotation: every other Holiday Expectations: Travelers will work 75% of holidays RTO: Can approve up to 6 days off, excluding holidays – must add time to the end of the contract if unable to meet contracted hours Scrub Color: Navy Blue scrubs or business casual to/from work; hospital issued scrubs while at work Registered Nurse, LD perm address over 50 miles away At AMN Healthcare we take care of our travelers!
