Position Overview:

Hospital is seeking an experienced and highly skilled

Cardiovascular ICU Registered Nurse (CVICU RN)

to join our elite critical care team on the 3F ICU unit. This is an acute care setting where nurses will care for patients recovering from complex cardiovascular procedures, including fresh open-heart surgery on post-op day zero. This is a travel/contract opportunity requiring dedication, clinical excellence, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. Unit Information:

EPIC (experience required) Job Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to post-operative cardiovascular patients, including fresh open-heart cases. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and operate specialized equipment. Accurately document patient status and interventions using EPIC. Act as a charge nurse when needed. Required Qualifications:

Minimum Experience:

2 years recent experience in CVICU or CTICU Education:

BSN

required Licensure:

Valid RN license (state-appropriate, active, and in good standing) Certifications (Required):

AHA - BLS,ACLS NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)

Additional Requirements:

EPIC charting experience is

mandatory Must be able to care for fresh open-heart patients on post-op day zero Flu vaccination is

required – no exemptions allowed Must be prepared for high-acuity patient management
