Your Role:

As a Laborist Physician, you will provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care, including:

• Conducting prenatal assessments and routine check-ups.
• Managing labor and delivery, including performing cesarean sections and other surgical procedures.
• Evaluating and treating obstetric emergencies and gynecological conditions.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Maintaining accurate medical records and staying updated with the latest advancements in the field.

Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Completion of residency training in obstetrics and gynecology.
• Board certification or eligibility in obstetrics and gynecology.
• Active Indiana Medical license and DEA, or the ability to obtain.
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to make quick, evidence-based decisions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Working Conditions:

You will be affiliated with Franciscan Health Indianapolis, which features:
