We’re looking for a dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor to join our senior living community team. In this role, you’ll oversee daily housekeeping operations, mentor staff, and ensure that our residents enjoy a comfortable, dignified, and hygienic home atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the buildings within the gated community are clean, sanitary, presentable, and well maintained
- Prepare daily assignments and schedules, including routine duties and special areas for housekeeping staff
- Tour the facility periodically to observe housekeeping staff, ensure instructions and safety rules are followed
- Inspect premises to determine next assignments and ensure trash/garbage removal meets health, safety, and sanitation regulations (including receiving dock areas and surrounding grounds)
- Teach staff how to use new equipment and cleaning methods to maximize efficiency and economy
- Train new employees, assign tasks, supervise until fully trained; coach and counsel staff; perform interim and annual performance appraisals
- Maintain an inventory of housekeeping supplies, materials, and equipment; prepare requisitions for replacements; inspect equipment and furnishings; prepare work orders for maintenance
- Keep records and audits of cleaning cycles and common areas that require cleaning on a weekly, monthly, semi-monthly, or annual basis
- Investigate and resolve housekeeping-related complaints

What You Will Need
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2–3 years of experience in housekeeping operations
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
