Aalberts Surface Technologies is seeking a Material Handler/Straightener to join their team in Wadsworth, OH.

  • 1st shift: 8:00am – 4:00pm
  • 2nd shift: 4:00pm – 12:00am
  • 3rd shift: 12:00am – 8:00am

Responsibilities

• Material handling of non-preloaded product to heat treatable containers and from heat treatable containers back to customer containers per loading procedure.
• Implementation of all quality procedures as they relate to specific systems and/or customers.
• Assisting in all areas of production and quality as directed by the Team Leader or member of management.
• Safe Forklift Operation – Must be a licensed operator.
• Documenting any non-conformance in the process you discover as well as placing product in the hold/non-conform area per written procedures and work instructions.
• Straighten all designated parts in accordance with approved methods as well as all documentation deemed necessary to record daily activities pertaining to the straightening of customer products.
• Maintain the required standard of quality on a continuing basis.
• Maintain output at or above established levels.
• Responsible for housekeeping of straightening area.
• Complete training and OJT for Secondary Straightener, pass proficiency test.

Qualifications

• Forklift and material handling experience.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
