Overview

Caregivers at Cherrywood Village assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) while treating all residents with dignity, respect, and compassion. Caregivers follow resident care plans as directed by community leadership and comply with Federal, State, and Local standards for community operation. Our team incorporates the Generation’s Mission, Vision, and Values into daily work and interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as directed by care plans.
  • Treat residents with dignity, respect, and compassion at all times.
  • Follow resident care plans and comply with applicable standards and regulations.
  • Represent Generations values in daily interactions with residents, families, and colleagues.

Schedule

  • Part-time 6 am to 2 pm Monday, and Sunday 2 pm to 10 pm
  • 8-hour shifts
  • Weekend and holiday availability preferred

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a Caregiver is preferred but not required
  • Certification as a Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide is a plus
  • CPR/First Aid certification training is available upon hire
  • Ability to pass pre-employment physical and background checks
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate and patient
