Associated Home Care is looking for a Companion to join our team. The Companion is responsible for providing emotional support and companionship to clients. They may also assist with daily tasks and housekeeping. The ideal candidate must care for clients and their property with dignity, patience, compassion, and respect. This person will encourage and remain empathetic to clients at all times.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with errands, light housekeeping, meal preparation, grocery shopping, transportation, ambulation, and transfers.
• Provide personal care including dressing, bathing, mobility assistance, incontinence care, and other services.
• Offer companionship and friendship for seniors and loved ones.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Maintain communication in daily logs of client's health, well-being, and activities.

Successful applicants will meet the following requirements:

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable vehicle
• Open availability strongly preferred
• Submit to criminal background check
• CPR certification
• Must have a Supportive Home Health Aide Certificate
