Travel Job Description & Requirements Registered Nurse – Pediatric Intensive Care - PICU - Travel - (PICU RN)
StartDate: 10/27/2025 Available Shifts: 12 D/E/N Pay Rate: $2708.28 - $2984.63
Resource Pool (RP) Level 3 RNs are part of a team of caregivers who provide staffing support to a variety of units. RN Level 3 RNs are able to take assignments in general care units as well as at least two critical care units. Assigned units will be within the Level 3 RN’s skill level and could include:
General/Specialty Units:
Medical/Surgical Unit Hematology/Oncology Unit Progressive Care Unit Technology Dependent Intensive Care Unit Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit Neuroscience Unit Emergency Department (Minor Care) Post-Anesthesia Care Unit Level II Critical Care Units:
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Emergency Department (Main Treatment Area) All RP Level 3 Staff RNs are supported by the general care unit and critical care unit’s leadership and report to the Operations Center Manager.
Required Qualifications BLS - PALS NRP PICU and CVPICU experience to include hands on with generalized respiratory, neuro surge patients and a vigorous cardiac care background. Certs and License cannot expire during the 1st 13 weeks FLU required. No exemptions Travel exp 5 years of exp preferred Strong skill set needed in all care areas due to our acuity and diverse population of patient diagnosis. High proficiency in post-neurosurgery patients, asthmatics, or trauma, SI, Status Epilepticus, Cleft Lip/ Palate, Craniofacial and specific medication administration (versed, narcotic analgesia) Preferred Qualifications BSN is preferred. trach care and suctioning/vent Strong PCA pump
