Join our team as a Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) Registered Nurse (RN) at Saint Mary's Hospital in Richmond, VA. This role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic environment at the facility, known for its comprehensive maternal care services and patient-centered approach. To qualify for this position, you must have an active RN license and a minimum of 2 years of experience in labor and delivery or a related field. Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems is required. Candidates should possess strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting. Preferred qualifications include experience with neonatal resuscitation program (NRP) certification and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certification. Required Qualifications Circulating experience required Certifications: BLS & NRP required Required to work every other weekend and major holidays On-call 1–2 shifts every 6 weeks Floating: Likely within Women’s Health Required: Current RN license (state or compact) BLS (prior to direct patient care) NRP (within 6 months of hire)
Preferred Qualifications Scrub experience preferred Minimum 2 years of L&D experience (higher acuity strongly preferred) Fetal monitoring experience needed (certification not required) ACLS preferred Preferred: Electronic Fetal Monitoring Certification Inpatient OB Certification Maternal Newborn Nursing Certification Neonatal Intensive Care Certification (required for NICU transport teams within 2 years) Low Risk Neonatal Nursing Certification Care of Extremely Low Birth Weight Neonate Certification Facility Location Skyscrapers, antebellum homes and the State Capitol—the old and the new—stand together in graceful compatibility in modern-day Richmond.
