Job Description

Liberty Mutual Insurance is seeking a Solution Architect to establish and provide leadership to the technology strategy and technology roadmaps for the Sales and Agency Support (S&AS) Portfolio. The successful candidate will work closely with Solutions Engineers and teams on engineering choices and how they align to the enterprise well-architected framework. They will develop specifications for new and existing products/services, applications, and service offerings, and provide technical oversight and architecture/engineering solutions to large, strategic, complex system and application development projects. Responsibilities

Contribute to the development of the technology strategy and technology roadmaps that enable the business. Provide consultation and collaborate with Engineering Managers, business partners, and peer groups regarding long and short-range product features. Educate and drive adoption of the well-architected framework to promote Operational Excellence, Security, Reliability, Performance Efficiency, and Cost Optimization. Contribute to the design and development of architecture (integrated process, methodology, framework, software/applications, data, information, and technology) scalable solutions to business problems. Influence and partner with Product Owners and engineering teams to align technical design and strategy with the product roadmap. Connect Solution Engineering with Technology and Portfolio Architecture work to ensure sound roadmaps that deliver business value. Responsible for prototyping complex, cross-platform business solutions to validate newer technologies. Maintain collaborative and strategic partnerships between customers, vendors, business partners, and technology teams. Share expertise to ensure that teams are continuously improving and learning together to meet current and future engineering and architecture needs. Qualifications

Advanced knowledge of agile development methodologies as typically acquired through a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical or business discipline or equivalent experience. At least 10 years of related experience. Knowledgeable in software engineering languages and tools; proficient in new and emerging technologies. In-depth knowledge of diverse and emerging technologies and new architectural concepts and principles. In-depth understanding of layered solutions and designs; in-depth understanding of shared software concepts and product features, as well as security-minded. Proficient in all product and system components of technical architecture. In-depth knowledge of business operations, objectives, and strategies; in-depth understanding of global business and technological trends and the financial services industry. Strong influencing and consensus-building skills, and the adaptability to respond to change quickly. Ability to effectively collaborate with all levels of the organization with diverse backgrounds. Highly developed negotiation, consensus-building, and influencing skills, facilitation, and the adaptability to respond to change quickly. Highly developed oral and written communication skills; strong presentation skills. Desired Technical Skills

Salesforce Financial Services Clout (FSC) includes experience with Salesforce Connect, Bulk API, Platform Events, Omnistudio, Hyperforce, DevOps Center, Security Center, and Shield. Salesforce Agentforce experience, OpenAI or equivalent Large Language Model experience. GraphQL, Kubernetes, Github Actions, Spring Boot, React.JS, Kafka. Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) experience. About Us
