Crane Data Centers Crane Data Centers Inc. ("Crane") is seeking a VP of Leasing and Business Development. In this role, you will lead client engagement, execute leases for data center capacity, secure new revenue streams, help define Crane’s leasing strategy, and achieve leasing targets in collaboration with our leadership team. Responsibilities
You will be responsible for accelerating Crane’s revenue growth by identifying, acquiring, and developing new client accounts, leasing a portfolio of new data center capacity, and negotiating complex leases for Crane data center offerings. Your primary focus will be leasing and building a strong book of business including the leasing of data center capacity prior to construction. You will be directly accountable for Crane’s revenue creation and for achieving performance benchmarks and milestones agreed upon with senior leadership You will collaborate closely with the Crane team to align leasing with other workstreams You will develop and implement leasing infrastructure, systems, and KPI / metrics for success; once determined, performance will be measured against these metrics You will identify opportunities for growth and maturation of Crane’s product offerings You will be responsible for achieving and maintaining client satisfaction by retaining and expanding existing client accounts You will ensure accurate leasing forecasting; define, analyze, and interpret key leasing metrics; and track, manage and maximize effectiveness You will negotiate contractual business terms and conditions with clients in partnership with Crane’s leadership team You will identify opportunities to collaborate with partners to grow Crane’s business Executive Management
You will provide organizational leadership and communicate regular leasing activity with the wider team You will maintain the highest level of professionalism and personal integrity in making decisions, ensuring accuracy in forecasts and reporting, and providing transparency to Crane leadership, employees, and investor partners You will provide guidance, supervision, and coaching to team members Qualifications
Ten or more years of both leading leasing organizations and direct data center leasing experience Ability to explain engineering principles related to data center design including power and cooling Extensive knowledge of leasing principles, process, and practices Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor others Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to leverage data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions Proven ability to network with companies in the colocation and enterprise industry Strong leadership and team building skills within a sales organization and cross functionally Proven ability to articulate clear value propositions including the ability to create presentations for a target audience Excellent interpersonal and communication skills What we can offer you
