The Challenge Ahead : Our People Experience Business Partner for EA Ventures reports to the Vice President, People Experience Business Partner for EA Experiences and drives talent strategy and the People Experience roadmap with Executives within the EA Ventures team. The Director, PE Business Partner coaches, advises and partners with EA Ventures Sr. Leaders to build leadership capability, achieve business strategy and develop talent globally. You will take leadership roles on EA-wide People Experience programs and related project teams. This is a hybrid remote/in-office role requiring at least three days in Redwood City or Vancouver. By leveraging emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Large Language Models (LLMs), and inventing novel modalities of interaction, we aim to revolutionize the fan experience for the next generation of sports enthusiasts, before and after the live event. What The PE Business Partner Does At EA Designs a comprehensive talent strategy with executives to ensure successful execution of goals, aligned with Company Talent strategy. Partner with HR Centers of Excellence (COE's) that comprise Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Talent Development and Organizational Effectiveness teams to develop and facilitate strategic talent solutions from hiring through career progression. Change Management: Coaches executives and leaders to plan for change management, optimize the employee experience, and work through organizational design to create role clarity at the individual and team level. Implements complex change programs for client group(s). Educates management and key stakeholders on best practices in change management. Orchestrates full-circle review of change impact to ensure change acceptance. Talent and Workforce Planning: Lead efforts to identify potential successors for important roles and leadership positions; promote attraction, retention, and development of talent. Culture and Employee Experience: Help establish and foster EA culture, improve programs, diagnostics, and related training/coaching engagements to develop EA’s overall capability to foster a healthy, cohesive, collaborative, fun and equitable workplace. Accountable for all employee relations issues in assigned client groups; work with managers, employees and others to respond in ways that foster a cohesive workplace. Employee recognition and rewards: create insightful approaches using market data to guide compensation decisions; develop non-monetary rewards to provide meaningful recognition. Responsible for the life cycle of performance and compensation processes across all assigned client groups; understand unvested equity and vesting timelines as it relates to compensation. Organizational Effectiveness: Identify gaps hindering outcomes and develop recommended solutions with COEs; coach, train and foster management capability. Workforce Analytics and Technology: Identify important metrics to assess organizational health and use HR data (e.g., Workday) to influence decisions. The next great People Experience, BP at EA also needs to have: Minimum experience: Bachelor or Master’s degree in a relevant field plus 10+ years of progressive success as a senior strategic HR business partner/manager. Experience implementing large-scale HR programs. Experience developing HRBP individuals/teams. Knowledge leader with mastery in organizational design, change leadership, and talent management. A business leader who is a builder of HR solutions and a strategic business partner. Proven change management skills: adept at navigating and solving complex problems, setting priorities, and meeting commitments. Balance compassion and toughness in coaching. Experience with local employment law and understanding territorial practices with EA’s worldwide HR team. Passion for creating healthy organizations, driving transformation and making culture a competitive advantage. Compensation And Benefits The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. Pay offered will be determined based on various factors (education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, location, business needs). PAY RANGES British Columbia (Vancouver/ Victoria): $157,100 - $216,800 CAD California (Los Angeles/ San Francisco): $178,200 - $269,500 USD In the US, we offer a benefits package including paid time off, sick time, holidays, parental leave, medical/dental/vision insurance, life/disability insurance, and 401(k). Some roles may be eligible for bonus and equity. In British Columbia, we offer vacation, sick time, top-up to EI/QPIP benefits, extended health/dental/vision, life/disability insurance, retirement plan.
