Job Description:
Multiple Positions Available. Develop healthcare analytic software applications. Develop and test complex queries/programs using SQL Server, PL/SQL developer tool, SSIS and MS Access tools. Recognize areas for automation in payment service and create report automation using SSIS/SSRS/SAS for weekly/monthly deliverables. Develop business/analytical reports on Ad hoc basis that will be delivered on the same day using data tools. Extract, transform, and load data utilizing SSDT tools. Analyze the new data feeds that are expected from the clients as part of the TPL implementations, review the new data layouts, importing test data and comparing identification engine percentages. Analyse healthcare data and producing, verifying, and interpreting client reports. Perform the analyses of health care data, including medical and pharmacy claims, membership files and health advisory/coaching interaction, to better understand the quality and level of care delivered and measure the effectiveness of the organization's services as it relates to both clinical quality and financial returns. Write high complex SQL queries in Enterprise Data warehouse. Build and edit SAS programs/models based on client requirement. Load client raw data files into production tables through ETL tools, such as SSIS. Work with the concept generation team, gather and analyze requirements and present/ translate the client requirements to offshore development team and ensure active communication between client and offshore development team. Involved in analyzing, mapping, transforming, and writing complex procedures in SQL, to migrate large volumes of transactional data. Build Tableau dashboard reports for business analytics team. Develop report automation processes using SSRS servers to improve turnaround time and reporting capabilities. Work with large and complex databases (SQL, Hadoop) for data extraction, manipulation and validation. Optimize long running MSSQL queries. Perform high-level checks on the research completed by the team on new logic and obtain approval from client to work on the same. Monitor team productivity and quality, organize KSS sessions, plan training schedule for the new hires, and coordinate with on-site resource. Conduct scrum meetings for tracking progress in agile environment including report generation and presentations. Establish Standard Operating Procedures and ensure quality standards based on query performance and output. Ensure compliance of entire team for HIPAA/OIG at both process and data management level. No International travel will be required for this position; This position will require 10% of travel within the U.S. to other EXL offices. Job Requirements:
Requires Masters degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a directly related field plus three (3) years of Experience in healthcare analytics software development including a familiarity with medical coding systems (CPT, ICD-10, DRG). Must have at least five (5) years of experience with the following: MSSQL, TSQL, SQL Server, PL/SQL developer tools and Oracle database; SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS; MS Visual Studio (.NET (ASP), C#, VB.net); Tableau and Shell scripting; Python and Hadoop technologies -Hive, PySpark and Zeppelin. Employer will also accept a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a directly related field plus five (5) years of experience required in healthcare analytics software development including a familiarity with medical coding systems (CPT, ICD-10, DRG) in lieu of a
Masters degree plus three (3) years of experience required in healthcare analytics software development including a familiarity with medical coding systems (CPT, ICD-10, DRG).
40 hours/week, 9:00am-5:00pm, Salary range: $171,000 to $173,000 per year.
