Role: Design and Release Engineer – Steering Location: Southfield, Michigan Duration: Contract Job Description: As a Design and Release Support Engineer, you will be Supporting components such as Steering Gear, I shaft, Steering Column to develop and build world leading electric vehicles. You will engage with other interfacing system engineers and cross functional teams to deliver the designs from initial concept to production. Experience with Design and Release of Safety critical components from concept to production • Excellent 3D CAD skills. • 5+ years of automotive industry experience • Experience and proficiency with CATIA V5/V6 and 3DX. Strong understanding of safety critical automotive mechatronics and hydraulic systems
