Program Manager, Amazon Grocery Logistics

Amazon Grocery Logistics (AGL) is looking for a Program Manager to join our Delivery Execution Team, focusing on Grocery Partnerships — Amazon’s third-party grocery delivery service. In this role, you will lead high-impact, cross-functional projects and drive improvements in a complex, rapidly-growing business.

This role requires innovative problem-solving, ability to work with data, and strong written and verbal communication skills to drive last-mile delivery strategy and execution. You will need to present complex analysis and recommendations to influence and gain alignment from cross-functional stakeholders in an ambiguous, high-paced environment.

Key job responsibilities include:

  • Drive strategic initiatives in collaboration with stakeholders, including Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Product, and Finance teams
  • Leverage data to identify and develop business cases, drive decision making, and conduct deep dive analyses that are quantified with metrics
  • Define and track metrics and mechanisms to ensure success of the business at scale
  • Work autonomously in an ambiguous environment to solve problems and proactively identify and mitigate risks
  • Present program progress, risks, and recommendations to leadership through regular business reviews

Basic Qualifications include:

  • 4+ years of program or project management experience
  • 4+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
  • Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
  • Experience with SQL

Preferred Qualifications include:

  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
  • Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization

The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
