Role
Head of Partnerships (AI4DrugDiscovery) Our client is a Tier 1 VC-Backed start-up committed to transforming the way drug discovery is done, making the process faster and more effective. They have created a proven collaborative and user-friendly AI platform that streamlines and accelerates the drug discovery journey. Following a rise in partnerships with Biotech and large pharma, they are looking to scale the commercial organization with a talented Head of Partnerships to build momentum with top 20 Pharma accounts.
Responsibilities
Own the full-cycle sales process for our software and services, delivering revenue growth and a consultative buyer experience from outreach to close
Build and manage a pipeline through networking, outbound efforts, and participation in industry events and conferences
Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to craft tailored solutions aligned with customer needs, reinforcing our scientific and technical credibility externally
Manage and grow key accounts, driving renewals and expansion opportunities
Contribute to the development and refinement of the sales playbook, tools, and collateral to continually enhance customer experience and business outcomes
Represent the company at key conferences, events, and customer meetings
Qualifications
10+ years of life sciences B2B sales experience with demonstrated success selling to scientific and technical audiences
Strong understanding of the small-molecule drug discovery process, including lead optimization
PhD or MS in Chemistry strongly preferred
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, ability to translate complex scientific and technical concepts for diverse stakeholders
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment
Strong cross-functional collaborator with a track record of navigating ambiguity
Skilled in deal execution, including negotiation, objection handling, and closing
Customer-first, high-integrity operator with a strong sense of ownership
