Lead Dental Assistant With Digital Dentistry Experience

We are seeking a skilled Lead Dental Assistant with proven experience in digital dentistry to support our clinical operations. The ideal candidate will be proficient in digital imaging, intraoral scanning, and treatment planning software, while also providing leadership and support to the dental assisting team. The Lead Dental Assistant provides chairside support to the dentist, supervises and trains dental assistants, manages clinical supplies, and ensures adherence to OSHA, infection control, and sterilization protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the dentist chairside during procedures
  • Supervise, train, and mentor dental assistants to ensure efficiency and teamwork
  • Maintain sterilization, infection control, and OSHA compliance
  • Oversee clinical supply management and inventory
  • Ensure operatories are fully prepared for each patient
  • Present treatment plans and assist patients as needed
  • Collaborate with doctors and office leadership to improve clinical workflows and the patient experience

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience as a Dental Assistant
  • Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification
  • Strong knowledge of digital dentistry (intraoral scanners, digital X-rays, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Detail-oriented, dependable, and a strong team player
