Dental Associates of Northern Virginia is looking for a Dental Hygienist Assistant in Falls Church, VA to join our clinical team. We are committed in providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating team-based environment. We take pride in providing comprehensive, personalized care in warm and welcoming environment, prioritizing patient comfort and advanced treatments for optimal oral health.

Hours: Mondays-Fridays 8am-5pm

As a Dental Hygiene Assistant, you are an integral part of care team in providing support to the office and assisting the professional dental staff with treatment. Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up treatment rooms, ensuring cleanliness and proper sterilization
• Assist Dental Hygienists during patient treatment progress
• Update patient health history and chart treatment progress
• Expose and develop radiographs (if certified)
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care
• Cordinate with clinical staff to manage inventory and sterilization of dental instruments
• Support the hygienist with patient scheduling and treatment recommendations and office recall systems
• Perform routine tasks while ensuring compliance with the industry regulations including HIPAA & OSHA
  
  

Qualifications

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (Required)
• Associate or certification in Dental Assisting (preferred but not required)
• Radiology certification (if applicable)
• CPR certification (Preferred but can be obtained upon hiring)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient care and comfort
