Role: Certified Dental Assistant

Job Location: Bronx, NY

Pay Range: $35/ Hr - $38/ Hr

Duties:

1. Provides patient education.
2. Takes medical histories and vital signs.
3. Places and removes rubber dams, matrix bands, and temporary separating devices.
4. Places orthodontic ligatures.
5. Selects and pre-fits provisional crowns and orthodontic bands.
6. Removes orthodontic arch wires and ligature ties.
7. Applies temporary cement.
8. Takes impressions for casts.
9. Applies topical anticariogenic/desensitizing agents to teeth.

Skills:

1 year experience.

Education:

Valid certification to practice as a Dental Assistant issued by NYSED. Primary Source Verification required.

Languages:

English - Read/ Write/ Speak
