Job Title: Pediatric Dental Assistant

Do you have a passion for working with children and a knack for making dental visits a blast? As a Pediatric Dental Assistant, you'll be the ultimate sidekick in creating a fun and friendly environment for our little patients' dental adventures.

We are Forest Orthodontics & Pediatric Dentistry, and we don’t just give our patients amazing smiles, we give them confidence! While experience is not a must for this role, your passion, enthusiasm, and willingness to be a team player are what we are looking for.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the pediatric dentist in providing top-notch dental care to our young patients.
  • Create a welcoming atmosphere for our young patients.
  • Help maintain a healthy and happy lineup of smiles!
  • Become a master of capturing dental X-rays.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment by sterilizing and preparing dental instruments.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the dental team to ensure seamless coordination.
  • Educate children and their parents on proper oral hygiene practice.

Requirements:

  • Enjoys connecting with children and creating a positive and cheerful atmosphere.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage and explain dental procedures in kid-friendly language.
  • A gentle and caring touch to ensure the comfort of our young patients.
  • Ability to work well in a team, supporting the dental team.
  • Organizational skills to assist with record-keeping and appointment scheduling.
  • Respect for patient confidentiality and adherence to privacy regulations.
  • Ability to work in both our Lake Forest and Gurnee Locations.

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Full time (approx. 35-40 hours per week)

Salary Range $18-$24 /hour
