Full-time night position that we are seeking a Registered Nurse or a Licensed Practical Nurse to join.This position is eligible for the following differentials: Evening $3.00 per hourNight $5.00 per hourWeekend $2.00 per hour (in addition to any applicable differentials)
Salary details for a Unit LPN are listed below in the job description for a Unit LPN.Unit Registered NurseRNs with at least 1 year of experience are eligible for a sign on bonus of up-to $10,000.The bonus will be paid out in two installments: the first paycheck and after completion of one year of satisfactory employment.
Please note that current University of Vermont Health Network employees are excluded from eligibility for this bonus.Job SummaryThe Unit RN performs services requiring substantial specialized knowledge, judgment and skill for carrying out the nursing regimen in support of medical care, based upon the principles of the biological, physiological, behavioral, and social sciences.EducationGraduate of an accredited school of nursing.Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by The State of Vermont required.ExperienceGerontological nursing and knowledge of supervision techniques preferred.Able to read, write, and speak the English language.Demonstrate competence as a nursing practitioner.BLS certificationUnit Licensed Practical NurseThe salary range for Unit LPN is Min: $28.71 Max: $42.66An employment bonus of up to $7,500 is available for an LPN for this role.Bonus payments are subject to applicable taxes and will be paid out in three installments: after completion of satisfactory probationary period (generally 90 days), after 1 year, and after 2 years of employment.

Assessing well, understanding residents’ conditions, thinking critically while advocating for providing the best home for residents, and being a person, they trust is essential.
