Overnight Caregiver Job at Home Instead in Valdosta

Home Instead is seeking caring and compassionate weekend caregivers in Valdosta and Thomasville. Candidates must be able to work 8-12 hour shifts every other Saturday and Sunday to earn up to $300 per weekend. Local candidates preferred.

Our mission is to enhance the lives of aging adults in our community by providing non-medical services that help seniors remain in their homes with dignity, care, and compassion. We offer daily pay options through Tap Check.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Companionship and conversation
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Assistance with grooming, bathing, toileting, and incontinence issues
• Alzheimer’s care

Caregiver requirements:

• Ability to treat seniors and their property with dignity and respect
• Friendly and effective communication skills
• At least 6 months of hands-on experience with assisted care
• Successful completion of criminal background, DMV check, and drug screening
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
