VCA Arboretum View Animal Hospital is currently hiring a Certified Veterinary Technician to join our exceptionally skilled and fun team!

Compensation: $22 - $32 / hr

About Us: VCA Arboretum View Animal Hospital is a location where our after hours teams often are needed in ER Surgeries as well as Triage and patient stabilization and continued care.

What You’ll Do (Day-to-Day Responsibilities):

• Assist in surgical procedures, including anesthesia monitoring and post-op recovery
• Administer medications as directed by the DVM
• Collect samples and perform in-house laboratory diagnostics
• Educate clients on treatment plans, medications, and home care
• Maintain accurate patient medical records

Requirements:

• Certified Veterinary Technician- CVT, LVT, RVT or recently graduated from a AVMA accredited Technician program.
• Strong background in anesthesia in acute care cases
