Overview
Hyatt Centric Times Square New York is seeking an Overnight Manager – Front Office. This role will oversee front office operations during the overnight shift, manage cash control for agents, address staffing needs, and handle guest services. The manager on duty during the overnight shift reports to the Front Office Manager and requires strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively interact with guests, other departments, and team members.
Responsibilities
- Oversee front office operations during overnight hours.
- Manage cash control for agents and maintain accurate financial records.
- Address staffing needs and scheduling to ensure smooth front desk operations.
- Provide training and staff development as needed.
- Deliver exceptional guest services and respond to guest inquiries or issues.
Qualifications
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
- Refined verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
- 1-2 years of front office supervisory and/or management experience preferred.
- Service-oriented with professional presentation skills.
- Hotel/hospitality degree is an asset.
- Strong strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leadership, effective communication, and customer service focus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts.
- Union experience strongly preferred.
Compensation
Salary range for this role is $64,350 – 70,000. Actual pay will be commensurate with experience.
