Job Description Hygienic TIG Pipe Welder Picture your day in Davidson, NC (28036): you pull up drawings, stage stainless components, and lay down clean, consistent beads that stand up to inspection in food and beverage, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology environments. Fabricate and install sanitary piping systems in accordance with industry specifications and project requirements. Weld stainless steel pipe with a focus on quality and cleanliness. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols to plan and execute work. Validate weld integrity through thorough inspections and testing to meet quality and safety standards. Maintain a spotless, organized work area while following all safety protocols. Coordinate with project managers and teammates to keep schedules on track and deliver on time. Diagnose issues and repair existing sanitary piping systems when needed. Keep current with industry trends and advances in welding technology. What You Bring
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational welding training is a plus. Demonstrated experience as a pipe welder, ideally in sanitary or hygienic applications. Solid knowledge of welding processes, materials, and safety practices. Ability to interpret technical documents and complex blueprints. Hands-on familiarity with TIG and MIG welding processes. Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities. Comfort working independently and within a team in a fast-paced setting. Welding certification preferred, not required.
