Travel Key Responsibilities: Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the ICU and float across various units including MS, Tele, PCU, overflow units, PACU, and stepdown areas as needed. Administer medications, manage vents, IV starts, ICP monitoring, and conscious sedation. Perform and document EKGs, assist with complex patient issues such as hemodynamic instability, respiratory failure, and post-transplant care. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes. Adhere to hospital protocols, including certification requirements and competitive safety standards. Float within designated ICU units, including neuro, respiratory, myocardial infarction, and transplant units, with exposure to high-acuity cases. Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse license Minimum of 2 years ICU experience, including experience with PA lines Able to pass EKG exam on first day of orientation ACS, BLS, NIH certifications required Experience with vents, IV starts, ICP monitoring, tele, and conscious sedation PA line experience (mandatory, assessed during phone interview)
$2244 includes taxable hourly rate plus meals and lodging stipend.
